Not Alone

Whatever you're going through, you're not alone. Jesus loves you. He is with you. God is present and His Spirit will guide you as you ask Him.

We are bombarded with lies daily. But God's Word tells us the Truth.

Remember to see yourself and others through His eyes, not your own. Don't get distracted.

Right now we are gathering on Wednesday nights to watch the Love and Respect Conference... it is a great way for us to realize we are not alone, specifically in the journey and growing experience of marriage.

We were encouraged this last week that trouble is a part of life and is to be expected. When conflict happens in marriage it is not necessarily a sign that there is a problem. We are equal and joined as one, but we are not the same, so naturally, there is conflict. Between two well intentioned people, it is an opportunity to connect and grow closer through the conflict. In the same way that the difficulties of life help us become stronger and build endurance, they also give us the opportunity to knit our relationships closer together. Thankful for God's strength, His work He does in us, and all the tools He gives us to be able to carry out His will. We cannot do it on our own.
