ABOUT

Mental health affects us all in so many ways.

We are not licensed therapists or trained in the medical field in any way! Rather, we are ordinary people who have walked their own mental health journeys, walked alongside others, and want to walk alongside you if you so choose. We aim to encourage everyone that they are not alone, there is help, and there is hope in Jesus!

THE TEAM

Meet the passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.

Marianita Baldwin

Marianita Baldwin

Struggling with OCD through highschool and college, Marianita became well aware of how much it affected her daily life. Unable to concentrate, or apply even what she knew to her tests because she was too busy checking and re-checking things, she knew OCD was taking ground where it shouldn't. She learned the power of changing our thought patterns. We do not have to let certain thoughts take ground in our minds nor in our hearts. Through seasons of depression, various hardships and suicidal thoughts, she could see how the various tools the Lord gives us are helpful in different ways to draw us closer to Him and carry us through everything, coming out even stronger, for His glory and not our own. Marianita does what she does because she feels the Lord has led her to do it- it's part of why she's been through what she's been through- and she wants people to know that they're loved, they're needed and that God's not done with them yet.

Troy Baldwin

Troy Baldwin

Troy is one of the most calm, pure-hearted, joy-filled people that you will ever meet. Much of his experience in dealing with mental health comes in the way he's handled it in others, especially in his wife, Marianita. The way in which he is patient through reactions of fear; listens compassionately through insecurities or worries; and remains faithful and steadfast in the unsteadiness that different seasons can bring is a testament to how he walks the walk. He is an excellent resource for how to unconditionally love. But his answer will tell you that it's from the Lord, not Troy. He's very simple, and that is a gift! Troy does what he does because he does it for the Lord.
